YCON 2026

Since the close of YCON 2025, we have been brainstorming and working on YCON 2026. We had such a blast in Dublin; we can’t wait to see what God does at Laurelville! After meeting for a few days, and touring the new and updated facilities at Laurelville, we have come up with a plan! Our theme will be “Complete in Christ” taken from Colossians 2:10. We will focus on the sufficiency of Christ and how that effects our daily walk.

There will be three options to choose from:

1. Full YCON – $275 Includes: lodging (Cottages), all meals, activities, t-shirt, & booklet

2. Day YCON - $175 Includes: all meals, activities, t-shirt, & booklet

3. Limited YCON – $50 Includes: activities, t-shirt, & booklet

We have planned a Guided hike on the McCune Trail in the beautiful Laurel Highlands. This trail is a 3.7-mile trail in the Ohiopyle State Park. The guide, Brother Todd Stockslager, attends Listie GBC. We will then have a picnic supper and devotions along the rapids of the Youghiogheny River! You will soon be able to register on the CGBCI website. Stay tuned!

WHAT TO BRING TO ENJOY THE TIME WE HAVE TOGETHER:

·      Your Bible

·      Clothes - Regular God honoring attire, with church clothes for Sunday AM

·      Bathroom essentials – Soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, Deodorant, etc.

·      Tennis shoes – there will be hiking and adventures that will need comfortable shoes

·      Bring a camera if you want pictures

****Don’t forget your swimsuit

****Bring towels

**** Bring bedding (sleeping bag, sheets, blanket, pillow)

ITEMS NOT TO BRING:

·      No lighters, matches, fireworks

·      No knives or firearms

·      No magazines

·      No tobacco, alcohol, or drugs 

DRESS CODE:  ALL CLOTHING MUST BE MODEST; the following are clothes NOT to bring: 

·      NO Short shorts

·      NO “hip huggers” or low riders”

·      NO tight-fitting clothes

·      NO outfits or tops that expose the midriff

·      NO halter tops

·      NO spaghetti straps

·      NO bikini swimsuits (a colored T-shirt will be worn over all swimwear by males and females)

·      NO indecent pictures or questionable words or statements imprinted on attire
