NATIONAL EVANGELISM TEAM (NET) – PASTOR DEL MILLER
Thanks for your interest in the ministry of the National Evangelism Team. Looking back over the last nineteen years of events has been an interesting experience. Here are some of the things we have done over the years to reach out and to edify the local church. As many of you are aware, the team prepares an array of Bible based songs, drama sketches, character impersonations, puppet skits, object lessons, personal testimonies and messages from God’s word.
The settings in which we have shared these presentations were: church services, youth camps, nursing homes, vacation Bible schools, faith and family weeks, an assisted living complex, community cook-outs, a homeless shelter, a drug and alcohol rehab facility, farmers markets, county fairs, living rooms, city parks and more. Some other interesting opportunities at which we sang were: The National Anthem at a minor league baseball game, special music for the wedding of Joel Kuhns and Patience Bolling and special music for Margaret Mason’s funeral service. The Lord worked out the timing for that last gathering. It was a special honor to be involved in the service for one of His saints whom a number of NET members call “Grandma.”
Other unique outreach efforts were organized around delivering flowers on one occasion and washing cars several other times. We have also done quite a bit of canvassing over the years. As mentioned in the first paragraph, these events were drawn from nineteen years of NET trips! The dates for NET 26 are May 30-June 11, 2026 with training being May 30-June 4 at a couple locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania. The outreach ministry will be at North Buffalo GBC in Kittanning, PA with Pastor Matt Foreman and will be June 5-11, 2026.
