Niles CGBCI

Niles Grace Brethren Church will be hosting a 5-Day Club at the Community Center of Ontario Place Trailer Park on Ontario Road in August. This is an opportunity for children ages 5-12 to learn about Jesus Christ and the Bible. There will be activities such as games, songs, snacks, memory verses and lessons to aid our children in meeting the challenges of the 21st century. The club will take place August 28th – September 1st from 4:00pm-5:30pm.

About US:

The Niles Grace Brethren Church was started in May 1990, in the home of Pastor Herman & Luella Hein, in the Oak Manor subdivision of Niles, Mi. Pastor and Mrs. Hein were the Foster Parents of Arthur McCrum, Pastor of the New troy Grace Brethren, New Troy ,Mi. This church became the ‘Mother Church’ of Niles.

Pastor Mc Crum and Hein, along with others, helped to get the Niles Church started. On November 11, 1990 we held our first Sunday services by renting the Oak Manor School Auditorium. On December 9,1991 the Lord miraculously lead us to a church building that had been closed by the Nazarenes in September.

Our church was organized January 5, 1992 as a Home Mission point with FGBC. In 1994 we joined the Conservative Grace Brethren Churches, International. From October 1995 until October 2012, Pastor Michael Ostrander was our pastor. From November 2012 until the present time we are lead by Pastor Ron Welsh
